Steven Saitzyk teaches and consults about the creative process and artists' materials. He is an Adjunct Professor at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and International Director of Shambhala Art a non-profit arts education program designed to join meditation and the creative process. He consults for professional artists, art materials importers, and manufactures and is currently a member of the National Art Materials Trade Association, the American Society for Testing and Materials, and The Professional Picture Framers Association. He is the author of ART HARDWARE: The Definitive Guide to Artist's Materials (currently out of print). To request a consult e-mail: Steve@trueart.info INTRODUCTORY CONSULTING RATE: The rates are based on $75 per hour with a half hour minimum, or $37.50. If it goes over a half hour, then the time is billed in half hour increments of $37.50. I will, of course, let you know when we are approaching the end of the first half hour. I take MasterCard, Visa, & AMEX. The way it works is I will offer you some time slots for a phone consult, and you will furnish a phone number that I can call. I will call at the agreed upon time and I will get your credit card information at that time and I will invoice you through the mail or e-mail as you prefer. LECTURE RATE: 1--1 1/2 hour lecture, usually in PowerPoint, minimum $300 in Los Angeles for a 'standard' subject. Custom lectures, workshops, and longer programs are negotiable.
